Hi, thank you for opening my blog. There is Indonesian proverb “You Can't Love What You Don’t Know”. This proverb means if you don’t know my name and my background, you can’t be interested in me. So on this occasion, I would like to introduce myself so you guys can know about me. My name is William Thesvara, I’m 17 years old and I’m proudly Indonesian. When I finished my 2nd year high school, I came to Singapore to continue my study as a college student at Curtin Singapore.

This time I’ve already been in Singapore for 6 months and i would like to share to you guys, especially students who study abroad, about Indonesian meals that i usually cooked at my apartment whenever i felt hungry while doing the assignments, or even when i missed the authentic Indonesian tastes because Indonesian foods that i found in hawkers and food courts here are not so good. For example, banana fritters that i found in Balestier Market Hawker, they used different kind of banana that used in Indonesia. Honestly, the ingredients here are taste differently with the Indonesian ingredients. So in my personal opinion, the result is not as good as when it cooked with Indonesian ingredients😅. But let me share to you my recipes.
